Triangle Affiliate.

Chesapeake Homes has been a sponsor  of the Susan G. Komen Tidewater affiliate since 2010.  The Chesapeake Homes’ North Carolina division recently agreed to join in the breast cancer awareness campaign, by sponsoring its local affiliate, Susan  G. Komen Triangle to the Coast.  By agreeing to help, Chesapeake Homes’ North Carolina will participate in the 2013 June Race for the Cure® as well as the 2013 Pink Fest next October.  Both of these events are in the Raleigh, North Carolina market, where the builder will also host a similar event called High Heels for the Cure in that area, leading up to the June race.  The High Heels event has been a staple in the Hampton Roads market for a couple years, and by hosting it in Raleigh, both Komen and the builder hope to generate more awareness for breast cancer support and race participation.
